A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE-You use this proverb to say that it is better to spend a little time to deal with problems or act right now than wait. If you wait until late, things will get worse, and it will take much longer to deal with them.

GIVE AN INCH AND THEY WILL TAKE A MILE- when you give someone a little the will begin to take more
Issac where is you work. You could be a great student but you need to work more consistently - there was a lot more to do as we discussed.
ReplyDeleteyou have your shoe, you have your company and your cliche - NOW WORK
Now you have your cliche you have to explain it connecting it to you idea. you have a bit of work to do.
You have to do your target market and then refer the cliche to your product and this will give you a direction - I have worked with a few student on this so take a look at other blogs and see what I mean by referencing the cliche as an idea.
Then you have to know your target market for the product and the company and the wholesaler - this will be a catalog advertisement. All of these will have or could have different meanings as per the target audience an placement.
I want to see 10 roughs of each design = 30
just on sketch or tracing paper - but 10 different ideas.
good luck angela
I man I need to see your work updated!!. thought the comic book and comic shoes is great but the way you put the images in the page is really important. Look at some layouts for ads - not only on the web but also borders or magazines you or your family or friends. Think pow, whak, swoosh, man reading comic book, comic books,
ReplyDelete!. 3 roughs of product layout - can be digital.
2. 5 more rough ideas for the wholesale
3. 5 more roughs for branding - all extensions of the comic imagery idea.
OK Issac - you have to work work and work! You really need to get some more information on your blog!!! where is your research. the word in Cliche.
ReplyDeleteWhere are your sketched roughs, where is your competition? lets get this together!! and Do your blog!!
Follow through of the comic book idea. – overall 1970’s comix in the background. Put the cliché and the log as part of the comic books in the background. Do it properly
2. Industrial: Comic bok for the industry. The specifications can be included in the extra comic info that is always on the front of a comic book
3. Company – look at the graphics of the comic books and see where you can simply integrate the log and saying.
The first digital image looked great on Wednesday - now you have to spend time on the others - your biggest downside is you lack of digital expertise - so work on it get together with people that can help.

Paul rand: just a bit random and bitsy - a couple of squares? A a lot of small bugs? – So the question is why the squares -
ReplyDeleteDesign the slogan is good – perhaps you could have referenced more about the science of the animals - the magnifying glass could have become central to the design – a distant background with the bug coming up central under the glass. Too much going on
Presentation Ok use of the grid but I and not sure which is the most important. The bugs sort of plop down the page 1/3rd, 1/3 - this is a bit of a hollow section – watch your negative space. – Why a change of Text for the heading – not connected.
have a great holiday
